Try to take the right pose

The National Marine Aquarium was born as an idea at the Marine Biological Association, who operated the former Plymouth Aquarium, so you could say science runs in our veins. Since our formation in 1998, we’ve developed our conservation efforts significantly, all focused around our mission to drive marine conservation through engagement.

Today we run three core projects: Conservation through Tourism Award (Mauritius); Reconnect (UK); and Community Seagrass Initiative (South Coast HLF project). You can find out more about all of these below.operant-conditioning We also have a keen research team running projects for the Aquarium, facilitating studies for universities and industry. If you work in a small marine charity, we also have grant opportunities to help develop the community we are so passionate about.
