Step aboard our luxury dining train, the Devonshire Pullman, for a wonderful experience in first class travel, as you enjoy a delicious meal, freshly prepared by our own chef who sources local Devon produce wherever possible.

Fresh menus, including a vegetarian option, are planned for each train and we offer a range of fine wines, which we have carefully selected.

Our head chef creates the à la carte menus using fresh produce sourced from Brixham, Totnes and from surrounding farms. Each menu lends itself to an occasion that captures a golden age of dining and travelling that can only be experienced on board a steam train. Guests can choose from our specially selected wine list.

The train comprises historic carriages, including, subject to availability, King George and Duchess of York, from the GWR’s Ocean Liner Express, which ran from London to Plymouth to connect with the Trans-Atlantic steamers, and GWR Special Saloons 9004 and 9005.

The journey, which lasts around three hours, takes you on a leisurely trip from Buckfastleigh, where you board the train, to Totnes and back.
