The Chesterfield : Conditions Of Booking

Deposits: 

Deposits are non-refundable, unless we have cause to cancel your booking, in which case a full refund will be made

A deposit of the first nights accommodation cost is required for most bookings.

Confirmation by credit or debit card: If the guest does not arrive or cancels the booking, charges will be made as per the cancellation policy below.

Full payment of holiday is due on arrival (less deposit paid)

Payment method:

Cash

Credit cards: a 2% charge will be added to the total bill

Debit cards: No charges apply

Cheque's: We can only accept payment by cheque if it is received a minimum of 7 days prior to your arrival

Cancellation Charges:

28 days or more prior to arrival : Full refund, less deposits paid or held.

Less than 28 days prior to arrival: No refund given. You are liable for the full cost of the accommodation reserved.

If you have booked accommodation and then fail to show, the full amount of the reservation will be taken from the credit/debit card given as security for the booking.

We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance. This can be provided through the Chesterfield with Guest First, or arranged privately by yourselves.

No allowances/refunds can be made for fewer guests staying, temporary absence, meals not taken, or accommodation vacated before the expiry of the reservation

Smoking:

We are a 100% non-smoking establishment. Anyone smoking within the building will have their stay terminated immediately and will not receive a refund for any holiday days lost. You will also be liable to a statutory £50.00 charge. Smoking is permitted in the seated area on the front patio.

Check-in times:

Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm (Late check-in after 6pm by prior arrangement only). Check-in not available between 10pm & 10am

Check out is no later than 10.00am on the day of departure, any overstays will be charged at the rate of another night room charge. All keys must be returned to a member of staff

We reserve the right to re-let accommodation not taken by 7.30pm (unless previously notified) and you will be charged as for a "no show"

Any damage to, or removal of, Chesterfield property will be chargeable and must be paid for in full. Replacement will be at current market values for that item

Any guest that appears to be under the influence of alcohol or other substance on check-in will not be offered accommodation and will have their booking cancelled with no refund.

If you book for yourself or a group you become the party leader and are responsible for any damage,anti-social behaviour or outstanding costs caused by any members of your group
